Sandra Rodriguez, also known as "Sandy" or by her online handle “Chatty Sandy,” is a talented public relations professional in Miami with experience in a range of disciplines including public relations, print marketing, networking and public speaking. A natural born connector, Sandy is passionate about meeting and bringing people and ideas together for a joint purpose. Her spunky style has led to success in a range of endeavors including taking on a variety of leadership roles in both career and community settings.
Sandy founded Pan American Media Strategies after being sought out to manage the public relations efforts for a local casino. Having come from a family of hard-working and innovative entrepreneurs, Pan American Media Strategies is her branch of the family tree.
Sandy had the opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream of living and working in Paris, France early in her career when she served as an intern at the American Embassy in Paris for the U.S. State Department. This summer-long assignment gave her a valuable insight into the role of public opinion in a global context.
Giving back to her community is important to Sandy. She enjoys lending her communication prowess to support local organizations.
While serving as newsletter co-chair at Coral Reef Elementary (2017-2019), the monthly publication Treasures from the Reef earned first place at the PTA state competition in 2019. (Woot, woot!)
Sandy is also a proud advocate of the YMCA of South Florida where she served as an active member and eventually chair of their dynamic Young Professionals Group (2014 - 2019).
